Make them feel smart

This week was finals week! Stress and more stress but it all worked out.

Communication

The first challenge in this program was about communication. How do we share information that everyone can understand? As I finish up my last first quarter, that concept is still relevant.

Clarity

Learning all these big words are cool and all. Makes me feel smart. So smart that I bought some glasses to make me play the role better 🤓. Yet, I am reminded that complicated words looses your audience. To really connect with people , the most people, you have to keep it simple.

Less is More

I say this probably ten times a day. Wether it is pertaining to talking less and letting people talk, not overthinking, or just going with the flow. I believe that this sayin is a testament. Inspirational speech time, God is not complicated. Better than any t-test, situationship, or contemplating wether you should just eat the dessert or not (yolo). God on the other hand is simple. If we can just stop talking, overthinking ,etc, then we would hear him. Much like my cousin and I mocking my mom, sometimes we need someone to say…

Sit Yo A$$ Down

If it was simple Ari & I probably wouldn’t joke about it all day. All of us are rushing to do somehting, go somewhere, be something and I feel God sayin to SIT DOWN. If you know me then you know I am so hard on myself. Literally dtm, it makes me itch. I ended up with all A’s and B’s and I wasn’t happy at first. I even recieved an A- on my final exam and you bet I’m checking for her comments because why didn’t I get an A+. Never satisfied. In that moment I just needed to pat myself on the back and move tf on. On is Stats tho (pray for me).

Speaking to the people that feel like they aren’t where they are supposed to be. SIT YO ASS DOWN too. You are supposed to be right where you are. Maybe it isn’t where you will be next but if next is different then that means you grew from where you are right 👀. Embrace wherever or whoever you are now. He will move you when the time is right.
