As much as I wish things can be simple. Go to college, get a good job, future husband builds me a house, and watch my kids run around the house as I swing on the porch sippin freckled- strawberry lemonade… life is not a movie and definitely not a straight line. Well neither is writing. & if you know me... watching The Notebook too many times is probably the reason why my life is far from perfect but who said I ain’t perfect tho op see here I go validating my own theory 🤦🏾‍♀️

In the video I attached above; Dr. Smart discusses new ways of thinking about writing. He proposes that writing is cognitive, social, and continuous or in better words messy, personal, and collaborative.

The title of 'grad school' or 'doctoral program' makes me feel like I have to be that. Like I have to know all these big words, methods, etc. Well, let me tell you I know nada, okay not true but a little.

I'm not dumb the quiz is

I took my first pop- quiz in class the other day. GIRL I was so nervous. The professor didn't allow me to relook over my answers. I wasn't ready for the results but girllll I got a D. I felt like a D, but then everyone else did so I felt betttter. At the end of the day, not knowing has motivated me to study more and not feel discouraged about my current knowledge.Prayers for my midterm in two weeks cause if I get a D I'm cut (damn near)🚶🏾‍♀️
