: the property of allowing or having the same effect from different events.

Infinite Possibilities

The more I learn the more I realise there is not one reality. Maybe I am right, maybe I am wrong, who knows? So many things lead up to an outcome, and who is to say it isn't just or not?

For example, I participated in a John Deere Consulting Challenge. I don't remember exactly what my last blog was about but if this is repetitive, "that's too d*mn bad". To continue, my group of other graduate i-o students had a couple of days to make a proposal and present our ideas on the data and information given. An NDA (Non-Discolure Agreement) was signed so don't ask too many questions. My group was experienced and it gave me relief. Inserts 'but' to the beginning of the sentence for the plot; but I did feel as Ari and I say "im itching" about some of our processes. I made my suggestions and the group decided to stick to the expert's ideas.

Runner Up

The experience gave us runner-up! Now this is cool, yet, as a competitor to know that you were so close just ITCHES even more. But, I had to accept that their path was good. Out of 11 groups we competed for the top two spots, pretty good if you tell me & I am never satisfied.

So what did I take away from this? Maybe there are different ways to do things to achieve a goal. Even more importantly, just maybe I didn't need to win to win. This is big for me to say but to ask the same questions that my group was questioned about after our presentation is a WIN. Maybe a win for me as a 26th-week PhD student is asking questions and asking the right questions.

Trust the Process

This typical saying is typical for a reason. I know that I don't know it all but I am learning. One day I will be confident to not just question things but to suggest. But today and tomorrow I trust God's plan before mine because mine would've had me in the first place feeling too smart.

Xoxo, just a girl trusting the process, big word bank, and just maybe a 26 week PhD student
