Wtf ROI?
Yall he got me. Return On mf Investment got me bad. Catering to planning study sessions, attempting to reread already hard/long chapters, and being attentive have been my quarters so far.

Enjoying the Fruits of my Labor
A lot of people have been asking me the question above. Maybe I haven't been out the game long enough but I don't feel like a 'non-athlete'(never a narp). To me, sports was so much more than competing, waking up early etc. Being an athlete meant being disciplined, driven, hardworking, present, dedicated, and so on and on. Not only am I still all those things today but I am able to be that in so many spaces because I have practiced it within softball for so many years. In every room I walk through, I carry the traits of an 'athlete'.
Overachiever a**
If you know me you know I am rarely satisfied. I had my first exam this week (two exams consist of my grade so pressure is on). During the exam, I received feedback on my responses were correct or wrong.
Y'all why did I get the first 10 wrong? I'm trapped at this point. After the exam I do what I do best... be dramatic. I call my mom and tell her I am coming home.
Her: Girl I thought you failed. You got a 76.
I wanted a B okay. I take the long way to my office to fully feel it and when I get there they all waiting for me. I scored the second highest & the test is curved so I guess I did get a B :))))
You're doing Good
Next, I have a feedback meeting with all the Professors about how I am doing so far. Compliments about my presence during class were given and reassured that the foundations of concepts would come. They advised me to look at how all things are interconnected to improve my perspective in this field. Then refer to me as an ELITE athlete to remind me that:
it is okay to be where you are at. Stay steady and patient.
Xoxo, an athlete lifestyle, me and my man's ROI, or a 6th- week PhD student or whatevaa
p.s grams hc was cool but Howard Howard ya knooow
