DiD

Differences-in-Differences (DiD) is an "econometric approach that enables researchers to infer the causal effect of a treatment by comparing..." yea Yang and colleagues (2021) lost me too.

Changes

DiD model compares changes in one group to another group over time. Lately, I've been changing. Not even realize it sometimes. I used to be such a wallflower, still am but now I found myself going out of my way to ask someone to teach me how to dance. Small steps but a change. My dancing skills haven't changed but my insecurity around dancing has. That's growth. Maybe change isn't always about the outcome. Maybe it is about how we show up to get that outcome. Showing up as a better, more confident, wholesome you. You can't control some outcomes but you can decide to change internally. Saba Harouni Lurie said, " when we think about change, we imagine one thing and become another". If not, everyone else will.

The only thing constant is change

Ask yourself these questions

Who am I becoming?

Who do I want to be?

What changes do I have to make to become that person?

Am I willing to surrender so God can make me change from within?

Xoxo, something short and sweet, ever changing, two right feet, and of course 21 week PhD student
